Please make sure to ask about this valuable protection coverage when reserving your vacation!

Those passengers purchasing AMAWaterways’ Travel Protection Plan on their reservation will be
offered the option to purchase our WORRY-FREE PLAN for only $60.00 per person. Written
confirmation will be included on AMAWaterways’ invoicing.

Once this coverage has been paid on a booking, AMAWaterways will allow passengers to cancel
their vacation up to 24 hours (or the prior business day, whichever is further out) before the scheduled
departure date for any reason.

After submitting a claim to Travel Guard, our insurance provider, the reason for cancellation will be
reviewed. If the reason for the trip cancellation is not covered under the standard Travel Protection

Plan provisions, AMAWaterways will issue a Travel Certificate for the stated cancellation penalties
(less the Travel Protection Plan premium and the Worry-Free Plan supplement.)

The Travel Certificate is non-refundable and non-transferable and will be valid for vacation travel within
24 months of the date of issue.

The standard Travel Protection Plan premium and the supplement for the Worry-Free Plan are
non-refundable. The Plan premium and Worry-Free supplement must be paid with deposit. Please note that we are unable to add the Worry-Free coverage after deposit has been made. Once elected, the Travel Protection Premium and the Worry-Free Plan cannot be removed from the booking. The Travel Protection Plan premium and Worry-Free Plan supplement does not cover penalties associated with air or other services not purchased through AMAWaterways or cancellations made within 24 hours of departure (or the prior business day, whichever is further out).

AMAWaterways’ WORRY-FREE PLAN allows passengers to alter their travel plans to best meet their comfort and convenience.
