After August 31, $ 200 per person (regular cabin) $400 per person (suites) represents the cancellation fee until 120 days prior to departure.  At 120 days the regular cabin also becomes a $400 per person non refundable cancel fee. INSURANCE ISSUES It gets complicated.  AMA is a good value at the 2010 rates of  $245 per person with pre-existing coverage or upgrade for $50 pp extra to $295 pp with the cancel for any reason option. Same price no matter what cabin category you have purchased. AMA will honor the 2010 insurance rates for all those who buy insurance prior to the 2011 insurance being announced. Insurance is NEVER refundable so it may be best NOT to buy insurance if you think you may cancel by 8/31/10 If you do not buy insurance at the time of the deposit you do not get the pre-existing condition coverage and you cannot purchase the $50 upgrade to the "cancel for any reason clause". In order for these benefits the insurance must all be purchased at the time of deposit. You can buy the AMA insurance without pre-existing condition coverage and without the "cancel for any reason clause" at anytime up to final payment.
